I am having trouble with my asthma. Can I get my shot?

If you are wheezing or having an asthma flare-up, we will not be able to administer your allergy shots.  Instead, please call the office to schedule a clinic appointment with one of our doctors or our nurse practitioner to get you on the right track.

I am leaving town for two weeks, will this affect my dose?

You have 30 days before a decrease is made in your dose.

I just started antibiotics, can I get my allergy injections?

Please allow 72 hours after your first dose of your antibiotic before coming in for your injection.

I just had an immunization shot, can I get my allergy injections?

Please allow 48 hours between your immunizations and allergy injections.

I had an increase of symptoms within 24 hours of my shots, what do I do?

What is this large red bump at my injection site?

This is called a local. Locals are completely normal and expected as long as they do not exceed 50mm. Apply anti-itch cream and ice 10 minutes every hour until symptoms resolve.
